I never realized this but mine sticks up on the right side too....hmmm

I've got the bleeding light too.

It doesn't bother me though... The screen is beautiful regardless.

The original one didn't have the issue, the new one does, but the dpad keys work fine. I am going to stick with the new one I got, or swap out for a touch pro on the 19th (still haven't decided).

I exchanged it at a Sprint store. I had a conversation with a Sprint rep before I went in through their chat application, and they told me that the store would try to fix it first, and that I would have to get a loaner phone until it was fixed. I thought that was BS. I went into a Sprint store, told the first associate I saw that I wanted an exchange because I had numerous issues with the phone (dpad keys not working, battery life, and screen sensitivity on the sides), and the Sprint rep exchanged the phone no questions asked for a brand new one.

I was also told in the chat with Sprint that I can't swap my Diamond for a Pro because I was going to be outside the 30 day period. I activated my phone the afternoon Sept. 19th, and the phone supposedly comes out Oct. 19th. So I might try my luck again, and show up at the Sprint store right as they open.

Lesson learned: Don't assume that the reps in the chat are correct all the time.

Re: What kind of physical defects that you guys have found on Diamond?

I realize that my front panel (the transparent cover) is sticking out a bit on the bottom left corner which caused the bleeding light. While checking an unlocked diamond at Bestbuy yesterday, everything was tight the sealed right.

How many of you guys have this not-perfectly-sealed front panel?

Re: What kind of physical defects that you guys have found on Diamond?

Bump for replies. Was debating whether or not get a replacement for this protruding un-even cover plus the bleeding light. Other than that the hardware seems to be fine, I did have a few times when pressing "home" it just did "back to previous" though.

My center button on the bottom doesn't exactly push straight down like I feel it should. When I push it, it's like the top left portion of it goes in more than the rest of it. It works fine, I just don't like the way it feels.

That is happening for a lot of people (including myself). It has done that on the two Diamonds that I have used so far.
