Re: How to import Lakers schedule.csv to phone?

I don't know of any other way to do it. I use outlook to sync my contacts & calender all the time. For me it's just easier to do it all with one program. BTW thanks for the link I have been meaning to get that file. Knowing when the Lakers play is a must for me. :D

Follow the instructions on the web page to load the data into your PC outlook, then just sync the PC calendar with the phone calendar (Part of Active sync options).

So basically, there's no easy way to integrate the schedule into our calendars unless we use Outlook at home? (which I dont...)

Another Sports Schedule site is http://www.mysportscal.com/index.php.

This does CSV and iCal file to make it easier to import into outlook and then sync to your device.

Enjoy!

yeah it worked, the directions are on the link in the first post. I just didnt want activesync sync'n my calendar each and every time i connect... so i set it up for this, made a backup, then took it right back off.

you need the backup because once you uncheck the calendar in activesync it will tell you that all appointments will be removed from the device...

also FYI: i used the csv file... it looks like the ical files are the easier way to go, but i was already finished by the time that 2nd link was posted.

Re: Import Lakers schedule.csv to phone

I tried to do the UCLA games and where it says select my timezone I cant as it does not list ET, MT, PT, ect. I think its because no one knows what time some of the games are so the time is not stored in the .csv file. Almost pointless to add this to my phone without the gametimes.

I can do ical files too? It says:
iCal files, stored in the iCalendar (.ics) file format, are for import into Mac, Google calendar, Mozilla, and others.
CSV files stored in .csv file format are comma separated value files for import into MS Outlook.

Anyone know how to do the college football games with gametimes included?

iCal files can also be imported into MS Outlook. I did it for several sports...and it worked fine.
