Quick question before flashing juicy 2.3
 

hey, i am about to flash juicy 2.3. the battery is well beyond 50% probably in 75%

i hav the unlocker, hspl 057, and juicy 2.3

before i begin, should i put the phone in airplane mode? turn off the phone function and data, for extra security.

also, after unlocking it, do i need to flash hspl057 or can i proceed straight to juicy 2.3

btw i am on telus cdma diamond.

no need for airplane mode, etc.

First off, you should always read this first

After you run the unlocker, and the phone resets. Go ahead and run the Juicy ROM, but please read the link above. The more you know the better
BTW Juicy 2.4.1 has been released

back up, unlock, flash, and hard reset per Juicy.

After you have completed loading the Juicy Rom, MAKE SURE THAT YOU DO A HARD RESET, as Curb71 advised

k i just calibrated. how do you hard reset?

k i did the hard reset.

holding power, volume donw and circle button
the message showed up
i pressed volume up
it said ok i said ok

so am i set now? did i do hard reset too late? i went into google maps, and browsed.

should i flash again?

You should be good to go, I usually right after the phone first boots up, i don't even let it customize. It should be fine though

i hard reset. it customized and is back to usla look. exceptwindows butow is a lil different. i notice main screen is a lil faster.

is there a way to check it worked properly?

muc hsmoother and faster this juicy rom is.
