Anyway to remove or glossify the top and bottom bars?

Title says it all. I spent a decent amount of time on XDA and here trying to see if I can make the top and bottom bar of WM6.1 glossy but still using the stock HTC Black theme that came with the phone. All I found was one program that makes them glossy gray...no thanks.

Hell, if I could completely remove them then that would be cool too. Give the background a lot more room and look way better.

Also, someone needs to find a way to remove the "Call History" and "Calender" links on the Home screen. I am just going to install a "Call History" and "Calender" tab on the slider...no need for an extra link on the Home tab.

This will take care of call history and calender. Hope that Helps.

Thanks T M Z
nueNoBar disables the bottom bar on the today screen, giving you more space on the today screen of course without disabling your software keys functionality !

nueNoBar is WM 5, 6 and 6.1 compatible, and should run on WM 6.1 builds 20000+ as well. nueNoBar is donationware, so please donate to support nueNoBar and nueRom development.

Note: Please be sure to reset after you install if you are using the cab file.

If those tabs are removed, is the extra space then taken over by the wallpaper

NoNueBar only works in Windows Mobile...once you launch TouchFLO the bottom bar will restore itself because every tab on TF3D assigns different functions to the 2 softkeys.
