What is happening to my Touch Flow?

ok, I took off the sprint customization stuff which finally left plenty of room for ram memory. I have noticed lately that my internet will not open in touch flow but will when I go to programs. Now my qwerty keyboard is stuck in number mode and will not go back to abc mode. And when I get a text in it will not show up on my touch flow screen but just the last text it was on. It is too painful to do a hard reset cause it takes so long for me to get advance conf and other hacks in place and forever to fiqure e-sword out and I am tired of working on this phone. Anybody got a suggestion????? I of course have soft reset the phone. It will not take a prl update in setting so I wonder if something is going on????? I know just enough to be dangerous.
