Light Sensor--call Connect
 

Hey guys,

Is there any way to get the phone screen to shut off when the phone is put near your ear, or when the call is connected, much like the GSM version?

I should add, is anyone else interested in this feature, or is it just me?

I read somewhere (here, xda, somewhere) that the light sensor is not good enough to use for this as it is not always accurate. Though if it could be (or is) than I would also like this feature.

ya. my friends 3G iphone does this and when Im done with a call I look at my phone to push the end call button however my ear has already sent 3 text messages, browsed the net, and deleted all my emails. I'd LOVE a feature that turns off the screen when I put the phone to my ear.
