Wheel to Scroll through Contacts Stopped Working
 

Does anyone know how to enable scrolling through contacts with the dpad wheel? This worked for me the other day, but does not work anymore. Is this a registry setting?

yes its a modification. this feature is not available is the stock rom

ive made a cab file to enable the touch wheels features for you just install and soft reset :)

i will attach the cab in a zip file. extract and install to your device.

Hmm I guess I installed so much stuff that I assumed this was stock Sprint ROM behavior. Nevertheless, thanks! Glad you are sticking around ;)

Just soft reset, yes it works as expected! Its a little slower than it was before but I can see the values in the xml and know where to adjust now. Is it the wheel count parameter that makes it go faster? For example its at 2.. would a higher number make it go faster? I have a ton of contacts and i need to scroll faster.

Also how can I make this scrolling work with my added call history tab within tf3d? any ideas?

i think wheel could is how many rotations it takes per scrolling functions. try increasing the value and test, if that fails decrease it and test.

i noticed the faster you run your finger along the wheel the faster it scrolls though :)

how that helps. as i have not played with these setitngs any further then what i have given you.

i can look into making ti scroll with call history but im unsure if you can set Touch Flo 3D tabs as a entry in the smart touch wheel.

thanks gal, and i right to assume your a girl? ;)

i WILL look into the touch flo 3d smart touch scrolling. tonight im a lil over whelmed though. HOWEVER i will be sure to contact you if i find anything :) and of course post for others :)

Changing 2 to 1 made it scroll faster ;)
