Problems with long X press to close?
 

Went from the Touch to the Diamond, and I am not seeing the long press to close applications working consistently like it did on the Touch. Is anyone else seeing this and have any ways to fix this. I have the option enabled in settings, and it does work sometimes, but rarely.

Looks like this problem is similar to the issue people are seeing with the edge sensitivity. If I press harder, it seems to work slightly better. Maybe I'll try the sensitivity reg hack.

I just tap the X, and it closes no problem.. this was straight from the box.

i have noticed this on my as well. kind of anoying...i have the CDMA sprint one.
i have tried leaving my finger on the x for a long time and they "close" but idle in the back when i check the menu.

Yeah pretty annoying. If I use the stylus it works fine. Doesn't like my finger...
