Video quality? Sound quality? How does it stack up?
It probably doesn't matter, since I already ordered the phone... But in fear of buyers remorse I thought I'd ask a few questions for the current users.
I want to take advantage of that nice vga screen with xvidi and divx movies, hows the video quality? I never had luck getting videos to run well on the old Sprint Touch and Mogul I had.. Somewhat choppy frame rate, or poor sync'ed audio and video. Now after the use of an Iphone for a while Im a bit spoiled on video, how does this thing stack up? Good video quality, audio sync, etc? And audio itself for mp3's, etc? Don't see much on that, but how is the overall sound quality for music, etc? |
Re: Video quality? Sound quality? How does it stack up?
I have watched two DIVX movies on my Diamond:
1. Whose Line is it Anyway with special guest star Robin Williams. The quality was much better, the picture more clear and the video playback less choppy then on my Touch. 2. UFC 88 - Checuk Liddell and RAshad Evans. The quality and video was again very good, with little to know lagginess or chopiness. I am very pleased so far with the quality of video. Also, on a different note, the video capture was also very good. |

Video quality is very good so far with everything ive tried.
Built in speaker isnt good. Included headphones provide good quality sound. |

My Bose in-ear headphones are not bad either :)

I love the speaker for one reason. It's not on the bottom of the phone so when i place it on something it does'nt muffle the sound.
