As far as I've read, it's working for some people, and not for others. It seems like, if you already had a picture mail account before you got the phone, then its not working.

I'm thinking about just doing a hard reset. After reading the manual, it said the correct way to set up picture mail is to go through Messaging. I sent my first one by clicking send from a picture. I wonder if that caused it to not prompt me for my Picture Mail password. I can't find anywhere to change it either.

This is my first experience with picture mail, aside from the text/web thing they called picture mail on the touch, so I don't know if it is REAL pic mail, but it seems like it to me. I am posting screenshots of what is on my phone. I did not get any text message and did not click any links to see the picture on the web.

yeah mtkates, ours doesnt work like that (like it should).

I had picture mail on my account, and a picture mail web account long before I had the Diamond though. Back when I had the ole Sanyo 8100...so I just called Sprint, they deleted my picturemail account for me and I'm gonna try to set it up the way the instructions talk about and see if it'll FINALLY work correctly.

I called Sprint tech and they reset my pic mail account and re-provisioned the data and all is working, incoming picture mail no longer shows a link to the Sprint site.

and you didn't need to do a hard reset or installing the pic app again?

I did the same just now and I can confirm it works. Have them reset PM account and do an IOTA update and it should work. NOw I Have to do the same for the wife's instinct which is having the same problem.

i can confirm that picture mail is working correctly as well. had sprint remove the service and re-add it to my account. now i don't have to go to the browser either. i am loving this phone even more now.

Did the re-provision delete all the pictures and contacts in your account?

I have the XDA 2d om my mogul and DL'd the picturemail cab. Does it fully work on the mogul? :scratch:

I fired up pic mail on my diamond and got the G66 Error. So I signed into pcs mail to see if that was the problem, and I couldn't find anywhere to set anything up from the pc. So I tried a few more times, every time G66 Error setting up account. I called Spring cust service and while on the phone with her it set up... Go figure. I am awaiting a pic now from someone so I can see if mine is a link or pic mail intercepts.

Mine works too now. I called and requested a IOTA and reset my picmail. Took the the battery out for a minute, and it works!

I did the same but it didnt work the first try. Advanced Tech support had to do it a 2nd time along with other settings to do it

Is there any way to reset the picmail account without talking to Sprint? Those clowns didnt reset it when I told them to and only sent me an IOTA that didnt work.

Not sure if you tried yet, but you might want to ask this question in a mogul thread. I believe pretty much everyone here is using a Diamond, since it's in a Diamond thread.

For those who's MMS does not work, have you tried going to Settings>System>Update Profile? I wonder if that would avoid the Sprint-side reprovisioning.

It seems more like, if you already had a picture mail account on your plan because of a previous phone, then its not going to work until you get your picmail account reset.

This was my experience as well. It works OK, but I have been biased by sMMS on my Treo 800w.

Mine is working correctly, but yes, the ones I send out are in my inbox as well. I dunno if they're supposed to do that or not. I'm just glad i'm not getting texts anymore. I can live with it.

Well i spent 2 hours on the phone with Sprint Tech Support yesterday to get this silly thing fixed. The first call to tech support was pointless, as it just initiated an IOTA which did nothing. The second call the guy took picturemail off of my account, put it back on and changed something on my profile which caused my phone to be repartitioned, knocked out the internet, and i had to go back in and change that variable from 0 to 1, reset the phone, and voila! Picturemail worked correctly!

i guess i will have to call sprint later and try to get this to work. still getting texts with pics, sent pic mail is in the inbox, pics that i get dont show up in the picturemail ap, and when i try to save the pics, they are .do type

I just tried calling Sprint to have them remove and then readd Picture Mail and I was told they couldn't do it because Im on the grandfathered Sero plan and if them remove it, I wouldn't be able to get it back.

Did anyone get it fixed that was on an old sero plan ?

i am currently on the phone with sprint, i have sero but they wont remove picture mail, the kid keeps sending me updates, now i have no internet. 2 hours, yay...............

I think thats how its supposed to be. Sent picture are to the left of center and recived pictures are to the right of center. It's about time we got full blow picture mail.

For the rest of you guys that cant get sprint to do it ask for Advanced Tech Support. The woman i talked to there knew of this problem and had did it once before. Tell them you want your picture mail to work and let them figure it out. Make sure they know you should NOT be getting a link when you get picture mail. They not only reset my account from thier end but also reset it on my phone. After going into the ## thing they then went to settings and used that Update Profile program thats is new to me and wasnt on any of my other phones.

Step 1: go to acct picker (go to text messaging, then hit right til you get to your pic mail acct)
Step 2: hit menu, send/receive.
Step 3: that's it.

ok not only is none of these things working (the lady with sprint over the phone was totally clueless) but now all the messages i sent out i cannot delete. so weird.

this is to get your pic mail viewable in your email folder w/o having to go to a web link and to send your own pics. also, if anybody could find the reg setting to remove file size limit, i'd appreciate it. can't find it anywhere because there's no Arcsoft folder like usual

I just did a hard reset and went back to it and chose "menu" then "new" and already i noticed it going through some steps i don't remember it doing. I'll try and send a message to my phone and see how i receive it
