Re: Clearing Internal Storage
Actually, the answer is maybe. If you do it through the system settings you can "Clear storage only", "Format internal storage only", or a choice for both.
BTW following the instructions for a hard reset in the manual for the Sprint Diamond don't work. Tried a few times. |
Re: Clearing Internal Storage
there are a few apps I use that I could install onto the card, or have them store data on the card. however I have not done any of this for a long time, due to my constant card swapping. (kinda like installing to extrom, but with lots more space.)
also hoping bluetooth file servers start coming out (external drive with built in bluetooth) and yes, I know you can get wifi ones, but wifi's too power hungry. anyway, sorry to get off topic, but I'm glad the 4gb survives hard-reset |

And the answer isn't "maybe" (IMHO), since that's not a hard reset. That's "running the Clear Memory program". :) Clint |
Re: Clearing Internal Storage
The reason I'm asking is that I use SpbBackup to do backups of my phone to my SDCard. Now if I get the Diamond, I will have to do the backups to internal Storage. I do not want a hard reset to clear the internal storage.

Re: Clearing Internal Storage
You know you have a major problem like me when you go to clear storage and to format internal storage only and it says The Mass Storage cannot be accessed. Still awaiting fix for this problem
