I know, I uninstalled advanced config.. it really slowed my diamond down a lot and i think it was also draining my battery faster.. anyone else experience this?

Here.. not sure if this has been posted, but it's called Diamond Tweak, very useful so far and it has the sms wake disable on it..

I've been using it for a few days. Most tweaks seem to work pretty good but a few reset to default values after cycling power.

I just noticed this as well.. most of the tweaks i actually care about (sms wake, screen sensitivity) are not sticking and reset..

Maybe I'll give advanced config one more go around.

I d/l advanced config, but it looks like I need .net 3.5 to be able to use it. I d/l it, but it is 33mb so I was afraid to install it with the limited rom on the phone. Does anyone know if it takes up alot of actual rom space? Of can I just install it to a storage card? I really want to use advanced config. Thanks.

Have you tried Diamond Hacks? It doesn't require the 3.5 Compact Framework be installed on your device.

I did, and it installs and works fine for some things, but for others it reverts back to default settings after a while, so I was hoping that advanced config would be different.

The Framework itself only take about 4 megs of space on your device. The download is so big because it contains about 10 different version of the Framework, depending on what type of CPU your device has.

I use Advanced Config 3.2 and have had no settings revert.
