we want one here for us.

also some of those tweaks don't apply to the cdma diamond there are better settings for us then what are posted there. like the cache... the GSM guys make it ot bug its redundant, it doesn't offer any more speed just more chewed up ram.

thanks for posting tho :)

Re: Registry Tweaks/Hacks/Edits - Share them here!

I spent the last four days way out in the boonies where I had a signal that barely worked at all. But, the big problem was that when someone did call my phone most of the time I never heard it becaus it went to voicemail before the call found my phone or I would hear about half a ringtone and by the time I pulled the phone out it had already put the call to voicemail.

In my touch, I had put in a registry tweak that had set my phone to poll the local towers more times and in shorter intervals. The net effect was that the phone found incoming calls quicker and gave me more time to anwer them.

For the life of me I cannot find this tweak again. Does someone out there have and and could post it here. TIA

Not a reg edit or hack but....

##778#
Choose Edit
Enter your MSL
Click View Info soft key
Choose Modem Settings
Click on slot cycle index and click Menu soft key
change value to 0 or 1 (lower the number, quicker the tower checks)
Click Menu soft key, then OK
Let phone reset

Just edited mine. Hope it helps with connecting to incoming calls. :) I always seem to have a problem where it takes about a minute to actually connect to calls after I press "Answer."
