"Launch" Day?
 

So what exactly is "launching" today, other than reps and so forth not knowing anything? i get the info that's saying it's not coming out til the 14th, but supposedly the launch day is today. is this a trade term that means something else, like advertising or something? i haven't seen that either.

Sprint.com has removed the Instinct from their lineup and added a Blackberry (in the market I live in). I say they are geeting ready to launch new phones. So "launch day" might be a term for cleanup in preparation.

same here. the Touch is also 99.99 too, but i'm not sure how long that's been there for. the mogul is still 299 though, and i'm thinkin that's gotta change when the diamond comes out, since it'll be cheaper than 299

went to my local corporate sprint store today, all phones have been re-organized, like they're making room for the new stuff. Touch, Instinct and Blackberry curve prices are all 99.00 with new activation. mogul is 199.00 as wel as the treo 800. The manager how I always deal with said the diamond banners just arrived and diamond definately coming on 14th or 15th. Pro on 10/19. guess we'll still have to wait and see.

Eh, they spent millions on the ad campaign for the Instinct just a few months ago, it's their main "dumbphone"(non ppc) that was to compete with the Iphone....

O.o are you sure you're not talking about the HTC Touch (vouge)

because that would be pretty stupid on sprints end to pull the Instinct so soon. (hell the device helps sell their 100$ a month plan)

sprint launched 3 new phones today as seen on their website i still see the instinct there as always along with every other phone i haven't seen any changes other than the usual ones odd i keep seeing the touch fluctuate pricing it drops to 99 every now and then but as far as "launch date" yes sprint launched all its planned phones minus the diamond well the only people that got a diamond launch sept 2 are buisness partners everyone else is stuck till sept 14th unless u can get a hold of someone high up that can ship u a phone.
