that is true but if sprint does advertise the Diamond well it will sell to that same crowed thanks to touchflo3D the phone looks almost like it has a standard dummyphone os and not winmo under the hood, i know alot of regular non winmo users that bought a htc juno/shadow in tmobile and never knew it was a windows smarthphone. minus the instinct the diamond is probably the prettiest other phone sprint has in its lineup.

im getting the diamond too btw

their only differences are the pro has a qwerty and 512MB of storage and an SD slot where as the diamond has no keyboard and 4gigs internal with no storage. other than that the 2 are identical from what ive read.

I just checked. They actually have the same CPU and the Pro does have twice the ROM. I stand corrected. I thought the Pro had 400Mhz CPU and half the RAM and ROM.

I am on the phone with tele-sales and they are telling me the 14th of this month. They are saying it will be available in all Sprint stores. Here is what they are offering:

150 instant (new/ eligible upgrade)

50 instant rebate

100 mail in rebate

So the phone itself will be 350 out the door and 250 after the 100 mail in rebate.

All this is correct and to add to this, the Touch PRO pricing:

The PRO will be 429.00 before mail in rebate and after to 10-14 weeks wait the phone will turn out to be 329.99

Yes, telesales is Sprint and yes they can access your account. They are who you get in touch with if you order via the phone and typically the process of ordering a phone is a little sooner than in the store. And who is accusing who of being under a rock?

As for the MIR, I have called and spoke with the Rebate department, and had them discount the rebate from my bill.
