Actually the poster, Dunpeal, on Sprintusers said that MOST of the Sprint stores have the policy wrong and that there is no limitation for returns/exchanges on the 30 day policy.

You say this pushback is not smart. Do you think it is delayed just to torture us? There is a delay because it is not ready. I want one just as much as anyone, but when I finally get it, I would like it to work as designed if possible so I don't end up wasting time trying to get it fixed.

Do you think it would cost them more to exchange a few Diamonds for Pro's or for them to have to fix thousands of brannd new phones for thousands of unhappy customers because they released something that didn't work right?

You may not like it, but I'll bet they are doing the right thing. I'll happily wait for a phone that works.

so is this like...really legit? i went up to the point where it said "place order" but couldn't bring myself to do it because i'm scared to lose my retention goodies in case they eff w/ my plan in any way just to save a few bucks on the phone itself.

lol @ Exil3d, i'm gonna have to buy the phone for full retail price so i think im gonna get it on like the 30th or something and go play with the htc touch diamond pro and see if i like it then maybe get that phone for 30 dollars more haha smart idea though..

yeah, at this stage in the game, that's probably what i'm gonna do now. i didn't know how i was gonna live w/o a keyboard, but i'll just float for 30 or so days w/ the diamond then get the pro if not having the keyboard sucks. if the pro gets delayed like the diamond does, i'll just hop back on my apache for a wk or 2 if necessary
