In all reality these phones (touch pro / diamond) are not high profile phones for any carrier. They are too expensive, and not main-stream enough for them to be a big thing for the carrier. I doubt Sprint will be able to pull themselves out of the rut they are in with either phone, although they won't hurt Sprint.

Here's some more info on the Touch Diamond and Raphael... or whatever they're called these days. It's interesting that Verizon is getting stripped down versions compared to Sprint if this info is accurate.

Those specs are wrong... the Diamond got a bump from 192MB of RAM on GSM to 256MB on CDMA, *NOT* left with the same 128MB the Touch had before it.

The battery is also bumped up to I believe 1340, not the 900 the GSM got.

Yeah and the sprint version has at last check 4 GB of memory.
The article was oddly written but appeared to be that way.
To add to the fire. Our sprint location is "most likely" to have access to the diamond by
mid sep.

I will have the Touch Diamond on or by 16th of august. I was chosen to be the trainer for the device in my store. The Diamond will be released on Sep 2nd on a Tuesday on limited quatity and emplyees cannot buy it for the next 45 days, again due to limited quantity

. The touch pro will be released in about 1 month after the Diamond. Once it is in my posession I will post high res pics and vids carefully. SO hold on to ur horses people
