Ok today is the day the Diamond comes out. I will be there (Best Buy) at 11 sharp.

I take it you are a Sprint employee. Have you found out yet if you will get to keep the device the way the Instinct Advocates did? We 800W advocates have been told that we cannot keep the device. I am sure that many of us look forward to seeing what you think of the Diamond.

I'm going to swing by there tomorrow (or actually today) just to see also. I'm too curious not to check.

our 800w advocate got to keep his. i got to keep my centro when they gave it to me too. but yeah i also get to keep the diamond.

Don't be too dissapointed when you walk out of the store empty handed....

The new Best Buy ad has no mention of the Diamond, and the Best Buy Mobile Ad for August actually has an unlocked Touch Dual listed.

I think we are all waiting for the 28th or 2nd.

i just called the BB in waterford, ct and they didn't know what the hell i was talking about. this is how the convo went:
me: "hello cindy, did you guys receive the Sprint Touch Diamond today?"
her: "hold on...i'll check" *2 minute wait* "you mean the new air cards?"
me: "no, it's a pocket pc...like the mogul."
her: "you mean the Instinct?"
me: "no..Touch Diamond. you have the Touch, right?"
her: "ummm...let me check" *30 sec wait* "...i don't think so."
me: "you have the mogul, right? it's a pocket pc, like that. it's made by htc. well the touch diamond is like that, but it's black with no keyboard."
her: "umm...i don't think so. we haven't gotten a shipment yet today."
me: *frustrated* "ok, thanks."

I called the Manchester and West Hartford stores and neither even sold Sprint phones. The only Best Buy stores in CT that sell them are the Meriden and Trumbull stores.
