Back of the device is debateable as a lot of people complained about the feel and smudges of the faceted Diamond back, though in terms of style I think it was more eye catching.

CDMA version includes 64MB more RAM and 440mah more battery power than the existing GSM version. There is no question that it is the superior version of the phone.

Well I think people are comparing just that, the 11.33-11.5mm to 14mm, considering the Pro is 18.05mm. Consider the GSM ver to the Pro, that's 33% of the CDMA ver in size comparison. But CDMA to Pro is only 3.95mm, hardly a difference for the "added" benifits~.. Consider the weight 98-110 grams for the Diamond series, anyone know what the Pro series weighs?

BTW they have Verizon preliminary specs up http://www.pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=1365

Agreed.

I was surprised by the not so great battery life on the CDMA Diamond. I can't imagine how bad the battery life is on the GSM model.

Re: The diamond leaked photo

Someone who has actually had the CDMA Pro and Diamond in their hands says that their impression is that there is VERY little difference between the two...maybe 2mm.

Interesting... so between 2 and 4 mm...sounds good to me.

Do you know that with only 900mA, the GSM version will have longer battery life compare to the CDMA version. CDMA sucks battery life like crazy. That's why I hate CDMA phone.

I don't think that is an actual headphone jack. I believe that little hole is the mic and the little picture of the headphones is just showing that you can hook the included headphones up through the extUSB port.

UMTS sucks battery the same as CDMA does, the CDMA WILL have longer battery life.

Re: The diamond leaked photo

While GSM is a little better on battery life it is not 49% better as in the increase from 900 to 1340mAH.... The CDMA 1340mAH will last a bit longer than the GSM. From what I recall GSM is between 10 to 20% better on average in battery life.... I would expect ~20% better battery life out of a 1340mAH CDMA than a 900mAH GSM all other things being equal.

Of course at the boundaries (super weak signal for example) they may be much closer to eachother, I'm talking about just rough average difference.
