If the specs suck too bad, couldn't you get one from Vodafone or something? By then the price should drop quite a bit.

From what I've heard on the Telus launch fiasco, it's to do with HTC getting them enough units quickly enough. The Telus launch went through at least 3 semi-publicly available dates (August 6, then 14, then 20), but was quietly available on the 15th. Now it's back to "coming soon" on the website.

As a purchaser, it was incredibly frustrating to watch. If I was a reseller, I think I'd find it very frustrating as well, having people with all kinds of information phoning and looking for it, without having any real data to tell them, even the day it was available.

If I was a company like Sprint, I'd be waiting till they knew for sure when it was going to be available in large enough quantities to meet demand, and available for sure.

I know what you're going through, though, and I feel your pain!

AT&T already has the iPhone, it would be pointless for them to have a device competing with the iPhone, especially since their signed up with Apple on that one.

Will someone please let us know when this phone is comming to AT&T and also if it will have picture mail and aol, yahoo, and msn built in to it? thats what I'd really like to know? And if its not too much to ask the same thing for the sprint one?

if it does come out on AT&T it will have msn, every winmo has it, for those other ones you need to download it from a 3d party source. if it really is coming out on AT&T, it wont be for a long while..
