shazam app cab
 

i had downloaded the free version, and then removed it. but when i went to reinstall it, i can not redownload it from marketplace. it shows that i had installed it. does anyone have the latest cab file for shazam the free one?

I ran into a similar issue. I uninstalled an app (I think Office Mobile 2010) outside of Marketplace, so Marketplace thought I had it installed but I really didn't. What I did was remove the app in Marketplace, even thought the uninstalled failed Marketplace considered the app removed and let me redownload and reinstall it.

I'm not sure if that procedure will work for Shazam though, but I thought I'd offer the suggestion.

hmm, i will give it a try, but i did not see a place to do that under my account where it shows downloaded apps.

If you scroll down past Categories there should be a My applications option. Choose it and it should show you what apps you have. Then choose the Remove an app and Shazam should be listed in there.

got it. thanks. thank you very much. i also noticed that if you go back to the marketplace on your desktop, and tell it to send to your phone, then when you select market place on your pda, and apps ready to install choice, it is there again for you to reinstall

I believe Shazam only came out for Apples. Midomi Music ID is a good alternative if you have "seen the light" and migrated to Windows Mobile - its even baked right into most good ROMs.
