Wi fi and bluetooth wont turn on
 

Hey guys, having trouble. When I try to turn on Wi-Fi or bluetooth they both just will not turn on, i have tried 2 different omj roms with same results, any input appreciated!

does it say "can't turn on bluetooth stack"? a soft reset didn't help?

No, no messages at all, tried soft resetting several times, shut down and pulled battery even. I have now even flashed back to stock, then back to omj. When I go to turn on either one I press it and get the circulating windows dots then it just slides back to off........very frustrating.

I say do a backup. Then flash the shipped rom. Then format internal storage and then do a clear storage. Then try bluetooth to make sure it works. Then flash back to omj's rom if you want.
That should definitely fix it.
Only other thing you could try is reinstall bluetooth software but I don't know where you can get that by itself.
I may look and see what I can find. ;)

Thanks! i'll try that soon!, have you had this issue? Bluetooth and wifi both not working? no error messages to support hardware failure, Have tried shipped rom but didnt format and clear storage though.

Tried and failed, still no go, and go figure warranty up a month ago!

Well, sounds like you've definitely got a hardware problem there. Have to get it fixed or replaced. Bummer! :(

I have the exact same issue happening to my Touch Diamond (GSM).

I had some network issue, for which I gave it to the service center guys. They told me that they replaced the mother board. After that the bluetooth and wi-fi have stopped working. When I try to enable them, I see the circulating wheel, no error message, nothing.

Like you, my warranty expired last month :(

What happened in your case, did you get it working?

Nope, using as a GPS and MP3 player now. Get myself another diamond and a new 2 year contract.
