Verizon Diamond GPS fix????
 

I have tried the fixes for the Thouch Pro on my Diamond. I installed in this order - (Skcert, !!!bored!!!quick GPS, !!!bored!!!_VZW_GPS_FIX_v2.cab)
Follow the prescribed operations and still no operating GPS on google maps. ](*,)
Any fixes out there that I am not seeing or doing?

First, make double sure that your location is set to On. ;)

Thanks for the advice _ Location was on as I had done that at the start of this mess. I had a Diamond from Alltel (gave it to the Wife and got "Free one from Verizon for myself -2 year extention on contract -FREE yea right". GPS works perfectly in her Alltel with google maps (She needs it for hikes). I followed the process outlined in the fix listed in the previous post, in fact twice (after setting the phone back to factory specs before the second go around), but still no working GPS. GPS tool keeps telling me to "please open com port first" Settings are exactly (checked and rechecked) where they should be according to the post for the fix. This is a Verizon phone and I had a "Verizon advanced tech support" person tell me yesterday that in fact they do set it up to only work with VZ Nav (10 bucks a month extra!). Now I'm at a loss, anymore suggestions to fix this Verizon sabotaged phone.
