Little stock keyboard...Windows Mobile keyboard
Ok I really hate to start a new thread, but I'm looking for the "stock keyboard" - or maybe it's called Microsoft Windows Mobile keyboard. It's the little standard black and white keyboard, that has the ctrl and shift buttons. I like the newer ones, but I copy and paste so much on my phone and I like to just use my keyboard for that.. If I have looked past it on here, please point me to the right direction! Thanks!
If anyone has the cab please let me know! (I hit the thanks button:mrgreen:) |
Re: Little stock keyboard...Windows Mobile keyboard
I would think you probably aleady have it on your device but it might just be disabled.
Check this registry value: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{62B00599-25D2-4e09-8C48-03BF26DB8517}\IsSipInputMethod] "Default"="1" If it is set to 0 then change it back to 1. Hope that helps! :) |

you like to copy and paste? finger keyboard is the best for that. i use it all the time. it can even cut and paste. you can preset smilies, autotext, shortcuts. and its finger friendly, unlike that microsoft one. its the best damn app/keyboard for this phone.
get it here. and its pretty too. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=501122 |

Re: Little stock keyboard...Windows Mobile keyboard
I tried installing this on my Touch Pro 2, and it seems to have bricked it. After installing it asked me to restart. I did and now the screen goes blank after the initial "HTC" screen and nothing happens. Luckily I just got the phone, so doing a hard reset isn't going to ruin my day.
