Help with asurion
 

hello all...i have a question i'm hoping someone on ppcgeeks might be able to help me out with.

I had a diamond with issues on the aduio manager, so i filed a claim through sprint customer service ( i have tep). To make a long story short, i had to go through 4 consecutive and faulty replacements (all had the same issue of the screen on the bottom left hand corner
sticking up), before they got it right.

Now my gf's diamond has water damage and is pretty much done for. My question is do you know if asurion is sending refurbed diamonds as replacements, because i definitely am trying to avoid the refurbed diamonds if possible as they are put back together terribly.

They will send what they have...and my guess would be there is a lot of refurbed Diamonds still ready to be shipped out.

If you go to their website, it will tell you what handset they would be sending you as a replacement. If its not to your liking you can cancel the claim. But I agree with TRE, I am sure they have plenty left for the time being.

THe last time I did my insurance claim, 8 months ago, they had them. Not sure about now but when you do the claim don't they tell you then what you're getting.

When went thru the steps at the asurion website, it took me all the way to the end, and said it couldn't process my claim, like i had to call cust support or something.

The one time I went through Assurion, not Sprint, I got a brand new phone. I forget which phone it was for honestly, I am thinking it might have been the Diamond, but that was months and months ago.

just went through 3 refurb diamond friday the 19th asked for something comparable and they told me nothing existed...
