Just flash different ROMS and see which you like the best. There is no "best" one. I say go with an OMJ ROM.

+1 for what Wond3r said. OMJ does an incredible job, and we are lucky to have many great Chefs still supporting and updating the Diamond section with the latest ROM builds and interfaces.

In regard to original question, it's kinda tough to guess which ROM you would like best without knowing your what programs you use the most, as well as which graphical interface you prefer to run. Guess you can look at the choice this way, ROM builds are like shoes, most people are going to have different preferences. So you will need to find one that fits your needs best or build your own.

Nonetheless, if you have any interest in trying out Spb Mobile Shell. Clean 6.1 21055 ROM builds work great here, as well as clean 6.5 21876, 21887 or 21889 builds. For the latest cutting edge 6.5.x ROM versions with the start menu soft button moved to the touch friendly bottom left of the screen, plus the Leo (HD2) HTC Sense 2.5 GUI ported to vga. I think the 28014 builds work good, and their getting better with every revision. Plus the animated weather on the Sense 2.5 home screen looks incredible. For just the eye candy factor alone, Sense is hard to beat at this time. Just remember, more eye candy usually equals more program ram memory in use prior to running other programs, and less main program storage available at any given time.

Best of luck,
R
