error 624 after loading rom from RUU connection problems
 

I can download the latest update from HTC and load rom shipped from altell but when i go to load a custom rom i A connection error FROM THE RUU.

ANYONE ?

For some reason I managed to update from HTC or load AllTEl factory roms the phone worked fine using ActiveSync and when I load custom roms it would give me this error so I started troubleshooting the error it lead me to my device mang. The phone wasn't communicating as a modem I then went to diag mode and waa la. Some phones must not automatically recognize com ports and you have to manually set the perimeters.(alltel phones ##diag send) And in this case it did not work in bootloader mode either only in diag mode so i learned some really valuable information I can pass down the way.
