Re: Sprint Touch Diamond 2

I'm DYING for a WM phone with no keyboard and a decent sized screen on Sprint.
I was hoping for the Whitestone/TD2, then the Leo/HD2, but now from the leaks that have come out it looks like the only WM phone coming is the Tungsten which seems pointless with the TP2 out there already.

What's up with this, Sprint?
Not everybody wants Android, and the ones that do want WM are not all business users.

I feel what your saying looks like all the news about 3.5 to 4.3 inch screen no keyboard phones are all going to verizon or t mobile. And now at&t looks to be getting two new android phone and yes i said at&t the ones that are afraid to get anything better than the iphone. Sprint has let me down big time we are now almost done with the year and nothing but the damn hero and moment thats what i get for waiting.

You might even of heard of the new instinct and I don't mean the S30 version, that was just an appetizer.

So let me put it to you this way... Why would sprint let all the the little toys out of the bag by Oct 11, the day the Hero comes out. I mean November and December are the days to shop, and I assure you that the Hero is not the last phone to be released before the end of the year. You will have some very interesting choices this year. If you flavor 5 MP cameras get the hero or wait just a bit, if you want flawless multi tasking then pixi and pre are your best bets, but if open applications abound then android heros are for you, but it would not hurt to wait until about October 28th or so to buy, just in case you want to change your mind under a 30 day return policy. What was that saying about diamond's and best friends?

You ought to be tarred & feathered!

and your source would be......if u have inside info, please, share something for us to cling to, cuz so far Sprint has been a real disappointment!!!

its obvious, most if not all of the ppl in this thread could care less about android or WM keyboard phones.

More "inside info" from yet another rep. Forgive me if I am skeptical and wait for an actual official announcement from Sprint or the release of the new phone(s). I have learned to take posts of "inside info" with a huge grain of salt. I am sorry for anyone that bought a new phone at the end of October with the idea of returning it upon the rumored release of a new Sprint WinMo phone (Whitestone) per the earlier post in this thread. As the saying goes, "show me the money" or "where's the beef". OMJ is right. Most of us following this thread are not really interested in Android-, WebOs-, or keyboard WinMo-based phones. We were hoping for a keyboardless WinMo phone on the Sprint network ala the Pure (on AT&T) or Imagio (on Verizon). The way things are going, looks like Sprint is pushing Android and WebOS.

Re: Sprint Touch Diamond 2

According to this article, Sprint will announce a WiMax capable LG WM phone on Jan 6th at the CES. Let's hope it's a keyboard less thin step-up from the Diamond... But I have my doubts.
