Porting Incredible roms to CDMA Desire
 

Is it possible? They are both CDMA and virtually the same I believe... What would need done?

It's been done to an extent but a lot of things in the chipset didn't work i.e. wifi/bt. There are plenty of great ROMs available for the Desire (CM6/7, MIUI, Sense) so it would probably a lot of work with very little payoff.

yea, I guess Im going to end up keeping mine stock. Mine came with Froyo and HBoot 1.06, and my only root method is a semi-long work around. I'm pretty happy with sense, just was dying to try out the new sense. MIUI may be better anyway, loved it on my Droid.

was wondering if you ever did root or if you stayed stock hows the phone after this long have you had to erase and start all over or is the original os install still booting up?
