Let me use that mention thing that you love. @eric12341 It isn't Android's or IOS's fault that cars produce exhaust. Makes no sense right?

I will quote my post that you replied to but seemed to have forgotten.

Main reason why I will now go back to my zune hd.

@solo0033 tethering can be found by swiping to the right, scrolling down to settings and then select the option internet sharing. What's cool about this is that if you still have your tp2 and ur PC isn't WiFi capable, you can use a WM app called WMWiFiRouter which will send the WiFi signal from the tp2 into the PC via USB

Re: Finally! The HSPL for The HTC Arrive is here!

I thought I would give this a try, but no luck. I have SPL4.1.230513.1 and cannot downgrade using the link provided on the first page. The phone is recognized, but it says it cannot update my phone after 4%. Any suggestions?

For the Arrive , you have to flash a custom ROM. The "official" updates do not give you the internet sharing option either. All you did was unlock the bootloader so you can flash ROMs. Also with DFT, it works best for me to do a hard reset before reinstalling things.

Make sure you have the file labeled #3. That one contains the files for the Arrive and Trophy. Could be a bad DL also.

I did d/l the #3, actually I did all three, but #3 only has versions starting with 1 in the dropdown box, so I tried to downgrade the SPL using the sprint rom/radio posted and that's where I am stuck. I re-d/l the rom, It recognizes the phone and starts to update and this time quits at 4% with error 294 invalid vendor id.

I'll send you the link when I get home to try again. Rapidshare usually bitches up files when I DL. Did mine twice now since I tried doing the "official" updates and had no internet sharing, so back to DFT. Put in bootloader mode and run RSPL, then HSPL, then flash away...Also make sure you're using the usb that came with the phone. People have reported issues with using generic cables. You can also do a hard reset. Not sure if that changes the bootloader to default NoDo or not. Mine wasn't shipped with Mango.
