Notification light doesn't blink for new texts?
 

My notification light doesn't blink for new sms, does yours? I've only seen it blink green for a missed call

I was just talking to frosty about this, strange that mine used to..now it doesn't :(.

no blinky indicator lights here for text messages either

The only blink I get is for a missed call or a low battery. Not really a big deal for me, but I wouldn't mind seeing the light blink for a text/e-mail.

I forgot to hard reset when I got it so was hoping that it would resolve time stamp issue with sms/mms and was hoping it might take care of the notification issue also but neither issue was resolved by it. Just in case you were thinking of trying that

Someone on xda said it's known issue with wp7. However, on page 7 of the Basics Guide included in the box states under flashing green led status: "You have a pending notification (for example, a new message or a missed call)." So it might be a bug..

I wonder if there's a registry tweak for this. but i suppose the arrive has to be unlocked first to even find out lol

Yeah, you would need it unlocked. I have my Surround unlocked and still haven't figured out how to do the LED notifications.

I wish MS didn't lock down the registry so much...its a PITA to edit things.
