Any info on Sprint HTC Arrive + grandfather plans yet?

Has anyone upgraded from a grandfather plan to the Sprint HTC Arrive yet?
I have the Free and Clear 300, with an unlimited text and data plan attached, and while I don't mind the extra $10/month data plan upgrade, an $70+$10 plan would be too much.
Please let me know if any of you were able to upgrade using your grandfathered plan.
Thanks

I know Sero people were able to upgrade, but if i remember correctly the older grandfathered people with the cheaper plans will be screwed. You can get in on the Everything Plus Referral for $59.99+$10 data.

I am hoping that since the Sero people were able to upgrade, and the Sero plan was actually cheaper than the Free and Clear 300 plan, that I would be able to upgrade also. I guess I'll know within a day or so.

Nice option. How do I get an invitation to the Everything Plus Referral? I really don't know any Sprint employees.

Russ McGuires (McGuire’s Law) is the vice president of strategy for Sprint, on his blog he invites everyone to referral plan. Technically it is only $10 cheaper than their regular advertised plans, but $10 a month is a nice savings. On right hand side of the blog there is his email address and his pin for the offer. Just copy it and click on the link and it will take you to sprint site www.sprint.com/everythingplus

Did you buy the Arrive on the everything plus plan? or where you able to let you grandfather in an older plan?

everything plus is not really a deal considering you can't discount it and it still requires the $10 smartphone fee. better off using a discount on the regular plan.

I meant I got the link, and the info. I did call sprint yesterday, and they said I couldn't upgrade with my plan, but I could swap my Palm 755p for a HTC Touch Pro 2, with my old plan, and not even renew. So with that in mind, now I'm looking for one of those in great condition, hopefully with Android, installed.

If you have sero there is no need to switch to the more expensive everything plus to get the arrive. Just add the $10 premium fee and your set. But like someone said, it may be bettet to just to get a regular plan with a discount then to get the everything plus. Thats what I did. I got the 129.99 with my work discount and it was cheaper than plus. So it all depends if you qualify for a discount. The lowest discount you can get that almost anyone can get is the 10% off for credit union members. Some have even said you can stack this discount with a corporate discount.
