since this is the only wp7 phone announced for cdma so far ill vote for it. but i may just sign over to tmo next year as theyre hspa+ speeds currently outspeed sprint wimax

Meh! Too Little too late, most have moved on to Android. The Menus look grueling to Navigate!

The specs for the phone look nice but am I right in remembering that Win 7 won't be backwards compatable wiht Win 6.x.x programs?

That would kinda suck since I know of one company that doesnt have plans to support Win7 for now....

Compatible, Yes. Will they let you Activate on on the $30, Probably not.
Most likely they'll require at least the $40 SERO Premium.

Isnt the 7 pro like a step down compared to new phone out now? it just has WP7

From the reviews I've read it seems to be the exact opposite.

Definitely not a step down with the snapdragon processor, ever so slightly larger screen and will have a simlar keyboard to a Touch Pro2.

still not enough changes for me to buy one, got a surround to play with im picking up saturday but its only for a week to see how i like wp but i think im waiting a year cause theres too many things i dont agree with with wp as a os.

i read this article on wpcentral that said that there is a rumor of a january update that is said to add all the features that are currently missing from wp7 (copy/paste,multi tasking, turn by turn directions in bing CDMA support etc). if this proves true that means that we will see this phone in stores around february to march.
