I dnt think i can see myself buying the Pro "as is"... since the OS doesnt impress me the least, the specs on any WP7 phone are whats gonna do it for it me.. and the specs on this are weak to me for something soooo anticipated by many, EXcluding myself..

what i guess Id like to see is the Pro is just what was ready because HTC wanted to show off as many future WP7 devices as they could.. and that the Pro turns out to be one of several hndsets for a "Sprint WP7 Launch"... so hopefully when its time for CDMA WP7 we're not limited to just the one device...


its in grand rapids right now. havent read anything anywhere to see if its any good or not though.. im in Metro Detroit like you, and havent heard anything about it coming anywhere else anytime soon, even in the upcoming months

I would get it. Only other additions I would like would be a front facing camera. I think I would like a kick stand to keep the phone vertical also. Would probably only be used in skype or possibly an oovoo app if they made one. We will see what comes. 4g isn't that important since its not where I live.

i might get one but it depends on if it has a slot for sd cause i paid too damn much for this card to let it just sit still on my drawer

As eager as I am to make the jump to WP7 I think I'm going to pass on this one. If you look at the Android devices that were released, the 2nd gen ones are much better. The Droid X was released 8 months after the original Droid. The Droid 2 was released nine months after the Droid.

Then again, the way Sprint releases phones it may be another two years before we see another WP7 phone.

The cars that got released after the model T were also better. That's just the nature of the beast bro... If I waited for the next best thing every time... I would be a rich man.
I get what I want when I want (or when I can afford it... lol) and don't worry too much about it.
This is a new release. I know there will be problems and limitations but... I'm cool with that. Plus... I get a keyboard. I'm all over it.
I'm not trying to convince you or telling you not to wait. You have a valid point. I'm just ready for this upgrade. I have been for a while now.
Now is my time.

With at least a 4" screen and HanDBase available for it, I would be first in line. No HanDBase = no W7.
