Does anyone have battery issues?

Hey fellow geeks :)

I am going crazy with my battery life on my phone ..

I just unplugged my phone from full charge went to school and talked to my gf for about 36 minutes from my home to school ..

I hang up and the battery life says 80% ...

If I talk longer the battery is drained even more ..

I turn off my screen and hate it set at 1 minute for every setting ...

I hate having to carry and extra oem battery ...

5hanks for any help fellow geeks :)

talk time on the OEM batt is 3.5 hours (210 minutes) or so.

You talked for 17% of that time
Your battery shows 20% gone

Close enough, esp if you used a BT headset.

If you're in a car, a $6 USB/Cig ligher adapter can be used to power the phone off the included USB cable while driving. Or, you can get yourself a fat extended battery.

did you turn off "recieve all incoming beams"? click battery meter>beam and uncheck it if you already didnt do so. by the way, who you callin a geek?! 8)

Yes, the battery meter works in multiples of 10, so your math is good, you could also use the little Energizer USB emergency battery device.

No, im not in a roaming area ...

Yes, I turned off the beams since the day I got my phone June 30 2006 =]

No, I dont like bluetooth headsets ..

I have both the Motorolla 820 and 850 headsets and they do not fit around my ear =/

I use my corded headset while in the car because it wraps around my ear =]

I cant get a car charger because my engine start is connected to my 12 volt plug

And the fat boy battery is crazy =P

Ill just stick with 2 oem batteries .. or maybe I can get another 1 =]

Thank you fellow GEEKS =]

try switching batteries and see if they compare, if they do then its normal. if they dont, take it back to sprint

Thank you my fellow Geek :)
