Extend Number of Rings Before Voicemail ???
 

Can somebody please tell me how to extend the amount of time that the PPC 6700 rings before going to voicemail???

Every time I hear my phone ringing and it is in another room I literally have to run through the house to get to it just to find out that by the time I hit the talk button it sent the call to my voicemail!! How the hell can we make the phone ring longer before it goes to voicemail?

The tower decides how many rings before it switches to voicemail. It's not a registry setting or anything you can do from the phone itself.

I know when I was with Sprint, you could call in and speak with the reps and they could set it to go longer before the VM picked up and I THINK it was a max of 8 rings and default was 4 but that was a long time ago. However, it may be worth the call for you to try.
