6700 no longer charging.
 

So my ppc wont charge anymore or it only does when it wants to. I giggle the cord and sometimes it comes on and most the time it doesnt. What do u guys think I should do a.) go to closest store that sells them and get a replacement if they allow that b.) try to get it fixed at the store or c.) call up lockline? This is a sad day :(

go to the closest sprint store. they wont touch the phone. they will probably give you a newer ppc if they have it. if they cant/wont help you, then call up lockline

also, take in your power cord cause they might be the problem. did you try tapping the power button and tap it again(put it into sleep and take it out) that helped me when mine wouldnt charge

yeah I think thats what Im gonna have to do but the nearest store with PPCs is probably 20-45mins from here I may have to go to RALEIGH! Ugh this sux soooo freaging bad! And the only thing Im worried about is the EV-DO ring through.....even though we dont have EV-DO where Im at just yet...

Edit: yeah I tried the putting into sleep and taking it out. I havent tried my usb cable tho to see if its the charger. I will check that will I get home.

have you tried the second charger on the charging bace. I have one oem battery that will only charge there

good idea I forgot we can take the battery out and charge it on this base! I never sync nor use the cradle....thanks for the idea! :D

It's happened to me in the past and then went away. I don't know what the deal is.

i thought we were supposed to use the cradle to charge/sync. i hate that thing. so is it safe to charge the phone without it?

yea, with the included wall adapter. actually with any mini usb charger would also work. if you have a newer moto bluetooth headset charger, it would work. the cradle is for people that charge and sync all the time(business people mostly)
