Canceling service - crippling phone?

I'm with Sprint and thinking about canceling the line my 6700 is on - I use the phone for GPS and with wifi around the house - but I haven't made a phone call on it in months. I live in an area with no EVDO so surfing the web isn't a big issue, and since I have a Samsung M610 with a pretty nice screen if I really need to find something out on the internet I can. I get millions of text messages, but those can be switched to another line if I want them. So other than not being able to watch tv in the car (unless I have my tablet with me) will I be crippling the phone in any other way? TIA - sheureka

Nope. The only thing that'll happen is that besides 911-emergency calls and calls to 611-customer service you won't be able to make phone calls anymore/receive text messages/etc. That's it.
