enter bootloader with software?
 

is there anyway to enter bootloader mode using a software method. my power button is broken. I need to send my phone back. I want to reflash to the standard ROM. but I cannot enter bootloader mode to flash. I know there are software methods of soft resets and hard resets. but I do not know of any programs that will enter bootloader for me. like a program that reboots into bootloader. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Pretty sure the ultimate answer is yes but may be complicated. If you are flashing back to one of the standard carrier roms from UTStar.com, you don't need to worry about it - the bootloader entry is managed by the updater program. Just connect the device, sync, and run the program from the PC.

ooohhh yeahhh :) thank goodness for that. i totally forgot that. man thank you soooo much. i probably woulda been trying to stick a pin or something in the phone to get it to bootloader. or throw it at the wall. thank you very much. Yay!!!
