Is there a program that can use the Apache's camera as a motion sensor?

go to Ateksoft.com Its either webcamera plus or coolcamera. Either one will do twhat your looking for.

Thanks, that's pretty much what i gathered as well, i was wondering if the first guy who posted was trying to turn his phone into a wiimote or something lol...

I just want it to make noise when it detects motion through the camera, and possibly record it.

yea it would be pretty cool...

dont know if it would be much use around my parts...
but a motion sensor camera utilizing sound from the mic triggering snapshots or video recording through the cam would be neat.

FWIW There is a game called Lawn Darts that uses the camera a motion detector. Google it.

I know that you can set up a cam connected to your pc to be motion activated and automatically start recording with Orb. Maybe if there was a way to use the cam on your phone as a webcam when connected that may work.

A little reading shows what SINNN was telling you was correct.
