Apache SDHC & Camera problem

2 Attachment(s)
I used ppckitchen, great tool by the way, to build a 21042 of windows mobile 6.1 for the apache. I have an 8GB micro-sd card. I included the SDHC option in the rom and flashed to the Apache. Everything works fine and the Apache recognizes the card via file explorer but the Camera application doesn't let me save anything to the sd card. I found the SDHC.cab in searching for a solution and installed. Now the camera app recognizes the card but the system states it's only a 4GB card with buggy reading from file explorer. Any ideas?

Update: 10-02-2009@0940

After searching the web some more I found two SDHC cabs floating around.
1. Team 777 SDHC.777.cab : Shows the complete 8GB and can access files from file explorer without problems BUT is not recognized by the camera application and therefore can't save to SD card.

2. HTC SDHC.cab: Shows only half of 8GB in memory ~4GB is recognized by file explorer but sometimes buggy reading files from SD card. The camera application recognizes the card and can save to SD.

One more thing to note: I used a 2GB SD to test and found that it is readable by both driver cabs and camera application recognizes the 2GB and can save to SD.

There are SDHC drivers in the kitchen, they work just fine for me...

Well, which camera app did you choose in the kitchen? try cooking with another one? Also, these use Mini SD cards not micro, not saying it WONT, just saying it's another thing to look at unless it had worked on it before. Did you hard reset between testing the cabs? flash a new rom WITHOUT the sdhc option, then try the cabs? It's time consuming but doing these steps will more likely then not fix your issue.
