Low Volume?

I have a hard time hearing my 6700 when I'm not using an earpiece. I'm using the latest sprint nojunk3.5, is there a registry setting to increase the regular call volume. According to my last flight physical, my hearing checks out so I know its not completely due to my likely hearing damage, induced by concerts, lawnmowers, and airplanes.

Dword value = 15000

hope this helps

Boubert, what rom is that registry value in? I'm using Helmi's R4 kitchen (WM5_3.5) and have the following:
HKCU\Control Panel\Phone\Vol - Dword value = 65535.

There's also a separate key HKCU\Control Panel\PhoneVolume with two Dwords that don't seem applicable.

Mine is also 65535 and I am using Kirvins C&S 3.5 1.02

that entry controls your in call volume slider... if you have it set all the way up it will show 65k, if you move your slider down the number will decrease.

I gather that means that it can't go any higher than 65k?

I'd say that we've reached a dead end

I'd say so... not only in this thread but in general... low volume has been a problem with this device since its onset 2 years ago... there have been numerous threads over the years and though ppl swear up and down they are making any changes to the volume, it appears to be more mass hypnosis and myth than any real solution.
