Apache WM6 SIP feature
 

I have read on XDA developers that there is a built in SIP feature for WM6 that folks have gotten to work on the Wizard and other WM6 devices. Has anyone gotten this to work on the Apache? I "think" I followed the instructions but I still can not make it work.....

SJPhone, as people have expressed in the posted thread and other places, is the probably the most effective soft phone out there right now.

As far as the SIP client with WM6, Helmi may or may not include it in the kitchen release for WM6.

On helmi WM6 rom I have a file under Windows directory called VOIP_Call_16.bmp.

DOes this mean that VOIP was in this package at one time but was removed?

I looked for the files that xda forum talked about and did not find any of them on the ROM.

Just wondering if maybe Helmi took them off the rom.

They may have been removed but following the instructions on the XDA thread did not get it working again... I guess I will have to try SJPhone until it works natively...
