Dpad death :(
 

My dpad decided to stop working today. Sigh. I'm backing up the pim data, reflashing to standard Sprint rom, and bringing it in tomorrow for service.

They may fix it. They may swap it for another one. They may make me "upgrade" Whaaaa...

Cross your fingers it gets fixed.

Oh the horror... she goes in today to be fixed, so she's slicked off, running that ghastly rom.

Man, that rom sucked.

She's home, safe and sound.

Sprint replaced the dpad + LCD for $50. I had no insurance. Phone is 11 months old. Would have cost $77 in insurance for all that time... works for me ;)

Anyway, all reloaded with my custom AKU3.5 - man oh man that old 2.0 ROM is horrible!

Wow... i just laughed for like 5 minutes. Nice thread... no one bothers to put in their 2 cents and you just go on posting your problem! lol

I know how you feel... having to flash back to that POS ROM... it actually kinda disgusts me that they dont support a more stable ROM...

And thank goodness they still had a 6700 for you!!! I want to replace mine. Im right in the middle of deciding between Mogul or Apache... i like them both...
