Repeating Voicemail
 

Ok so itsastckup requested awhile ago a fix so that he could make the voicemail notification repeat. This .cab will ungray that repeat button on the voicemail setting within the sounds and notifications menu. Maybe some of yall will find this useful.....so I decided to post it. :D

Can this be done for "Missed Call." Is this a registry hack? If so, can you tell us where/how?

Never mind! Found it by searching ("repeat missed call notification").

I searched for a repeat sms notification but cant find anything... I can see the bit in reg edit, but not sure what value to change it to. any ideas?

I used this patch via the registry but my notifications keep repeating even after I dismiss them and totally quit after a few minutes even if not dismissed. Any suggestions?

The (wireless) switch, no matter the vendor (NORTEL, LUCENT, MOTOROLA) has a feature called MWT, Message Waiting Tone. Basically it does the same thing. Everytime you make an outbound call it will beep back at you before your call is connected to alert you of new, unplayed VM messages in your mailbox. I know we turned this feature on within our switch - so anyone with SPRINT, QWEST, Boost Mobile, Kajeet or Virgin will have this turned on.

This feature was originally created for the legacy 2G and analog handsets that really didnt have a very effective way to alert to the user. I know we have a come a long way since then, but this feature still is in exsitence.
