GPS on the 6700 ?
 
Anyone ever figure out how to access the GPS on the 6700 ?

I believe the Apache doesn't have builtin GPS hardware.

It does, but nothing that can be used by software outside of 911 and maybe a couple things from your carrier, anything else requires an external gps receiver.

The 911 location feature I believe uses cell tower triangulation to find your approximate location and not GPS.

Ok, I'm not sure how 911 works, but there is still a minor gps ability, and IIRC there is an option to turn off the option for anything but 911 services to use it, I could be thinking of my Q, though.

yup. 6700 doesn't have buildin GPS, you can use bluetooth GPS
