PST doesn't work on WM6?
Anyone get PST to work on WM6 yet?
|
Anybody?
Running epst.exe looks like it will do something then dumps right back to the screen I was on... |
You can't call epst directly. You need to use a ## code to call it from the phone app. Or use the ## code shortcuts that I included in the last WM5 kitchen (look in \OEM\Optional_Phone_Codes or something along those lines).
|
AFAIK, epst.exe is/was part of a carrier's extended ROM. Since the carrier customizations are built into Helmi's WM6, would you really need to run that file? I may be wrong...
|
that's my point, luv2chill. I can't get ##778 to work, nor ##778 (talk), nor *#778#... I tried like 20 different variations and nothing launches ePST.

I made you a cab to try installing.
Try this: http://verizonguy.com/xv6700/EPSTcodes.cab The codes might not be right for you if you're not a verizon customer. |
I'm not a Verizon customer but I don't think it matters. Verizon just uses different codes. I'll try that though. I'm dumping my WM6 ROM for now to go to the latest Sprint ROM to see if my radio stops going out... if it doesn't, I'll have to get a new phone.
So I'll leave the Sprint ROM on for a day or two. Thanks :) |
