under phone settings, make sure is set to normal ringing, instead of increasing-decreasing ringin :)

maybe that is the problem, maybe is not, keeps us posted

Make sure the ringer is not installed on your storage card. You can try turning off the voice notification in voice command some times this interferes with the ringer. Hope that helps you.

i think turning off the voice notification may have worked... what do you mean by the ringer not being installed to the storage card. i have a copy of it there and it is copied to the ringers folder?

If the copy is stored in main memory that's fine, it doesn't hurt to keep a copy on the storage card. Just make sure that you use settings/sounds and notification to set up your ring tones not the tap and hold, set as ringer method. Hope that takes care of it

hey I haven't had any issues with my apachehax its only reg edits so I don't think it could be it. but if u think that's what it is remove it and see. ps ur the first to mention this....so I don't think its that. and I have had installed since day 1 with no issues (besides the wmp problem, which is fixed in new .cabs)

it was definitely the announce incoming call feature in msvc. once I disabled that and delete and re-installed my ringtones... all worked well...

I personally use the msvc version myself....haven't noticed any problems....
