Photo Contacts Pro XV6700 HELP!

Hey guys,

I just recently (3~4 weeks ago) installed the newest version Photo Contacts Pro on my Verizon XV6700 and the software works great, especially with the screening of unwanted calls. However, every since I installed the software on my phone, each time my phone goes into power saving mode, it seems to disconnect my modem (THE EXACT MESSAGE: Cannot Connect The answering modem has disconnected. Check your connection settings to fix problem), and after a soft reset, I am able to use my internet connection or pix/flix SMS again. But again...when the phone goes into hybernation or power saving mode, it cuts off again. Is there anyone familiar with the software, and/or having/have had the same problems using PCP?

Help would be appreciated!

I've been using PCP5 since I first bought my phone a few months ago. I've had no real issues with it, other than the fact that it fights with (and apparently trumps) PhoneAlarm for some of the settings, such as ringer type. Other than things like WeatherPanel (and before that, PocketWeather) dialing out for updates, I don't have anything that would dial out like that. The only thing I do have happen once in a while is an error, I think it says something about an invalid mobile IP, or something like that. It happens once in a while, but not real often.

I also use Photo Contacts v5 and have no issues with it. However, when you say modem I am assuming you are using it teathered to you PC to supply a data connection to it, right? I dont know about that but I do know that when I am connected via WiFi and my phone turns itself off, I wll lose my connection. However it has always done this since day one. I think it is normal on my end.

Yes, we all do, but you'll have to buy your own over at their website!

Yeah...I was just notified that it was a bug from the version that I had (5.06), but just upgraded to 5.07 which completely fixes the problem.

Does Photo Contacts pro work with Microsoft Voice Command? Any problems? Will it still announce over the bluetooth headset if I have both programs installed on my PPC6700?
