ok i have a xv6700 that was fully flashed to cricket. me bein dumb was so excited that i forgot to find a wm6.5 rom that worked with cricket. so i installed a custom rom an not i dont have working internet or mms like it used to. i still have talk an text it just no internet or mms. i put everything in epst, settings > connections an everything else like all the steps an tutorials say in other places. i think i just need to reflash it to a cricket rom an go from there.

ok here my thing. where can i find a cricket approved rom. if i have to flash it back to 6.1. if i have to go back to wm5 thats fine as well. i should have used 6.1 anyways cause 6.5 is slow on my apache that would be fine to.

heres the device info. i think its verizon info here but im not for sure cause i can still talk an text!

rom version - 3.61.00 WWE
radio version - 1.43.00
extrom verison - 3.14.208 WWE
prl version - 01115

I have found that it is always better to set up MMS and Web settings manually...

i think my problem is i download a verizon rom.
so now when i hard reset the phone i never see the noticication of it installin the verizon programs an things. so i never kno when to reset the phone so it skips that step.

i also have the latest rom an i read somewhere in a forum that verizon but a block on there new rom so if u download it u cant load other roms after that.
so im stuck with this one. i cant find a reverse bootloader or anything to counter act this process.

i kno i must have cricket cause my talk an text works but for some reason my mms an wap dont. i tried everything. im not a noob at flashing an i kno how to step up the settings in connections an all
that just didnt work. i need to find somethin that will let me reverse this rom. i have a cricket one on my desktop for this phone but when i try to install it it says not for this phone when clearly it is. its from Helmi.

im about to just give up...

There is no "lock", whoever told you such thing is lying. You simply have to use a different RUU.

forgot were that was posted about verizon's new rom has a patch in it so u cant load custom roms..
but either way ti goes. i tried ALOT of roms an NONE are working. (by working: i mean wont update to my phone, i keep gettin an error that this rom is not for my phone an it IS!!!)

Non-sense, it will update your bootloader to what is reffered to as "New Bootloader" so that old ROMs will not owrk unless they are placed in a different RUU. Two options, use an RUU built for newer bootloader or revert it to v2.02/v1.02
